GTA VI Extended Look: Netflix Reveals Grand Theft Auto 6 in Its Biggest Gameplay Showcase Yet

The wait for Grand Theft Auto VI has entered a new phase. On August 27, 2026, Rockstar Games and Netflix finally presented Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look , offering the most extensive official look yet at the highly anticipated game. Rather than functioning like a traditional trailer, the presentation runs for around 27 minutes and combines gameplay footage, story sequences, character interactions, missions, and glimpses of the enormous world of Leonida. Rockstar confirmed that the footage was captured entirely from the game running on PlayStation 5. The presentation also arrived alongside another interesting development: Rockstar had privately invited four major international gaming creators to its Rockstar North studio in Edinburgh before the Extended Look was released.
